DESCRIPTION:Update September 7 @ 9 AM\nDue to the weather\, we are going to try and hold an abbreviated Field of Honor Ceremony starting around noon. Thanks to the West Newbury Fire Company\, we have a 35′ x 20′ tent to provide some shelter from the rain.\nPlease join us for this year’s Field of Honor Dedication and Remembrance Ceremony on Sunday September 7\, 2025 from 12 – 1 PM. The ceremony will take place at Bartlet Mall in Newburyport by the Field of Honor display. There will be seating for about 50 people\, and room for more so please consider bring a folding/camp chair with you. The weather forecast shows some signs of light rain\, so please come prepared for this. \nThe Field of Honor is a place for remembrance and reflection on the events of September 11\, 2001; the men and women of the United States Military who serve\, or have served; fire\, police and EMT first responders; healthcare workers who put their lives at risk to help others; essential workers during this pandemic\, and our own personal heroes.
