On Thursday May 21, the Executive Office of Veterans Services (EOVS) in collaboration with the Massachusetts Legislature held the second annual Military Appreciation Day ceremony in the Massachusetts State House’s historic House Chamber. The event recognized the contributions of 136 veterans, active duty service members and military families from across Massachusetts. Among the honorees was Exchange Club Member Dudley Farquhar.

State Representative Dawne Shand recognized Dudley during the event saying “I’m proud to recognize Mr. Farqahar for his community leadership for veterans of the Vietnam War.” You can find more information about the event in this Facebook Post.

We are grateful to have Dudley as a member of our club, and we find continued inspiration through his tireless support of veterans and active duty troops stationed overseas.
